looking for an exciting opportunity?
Hello friends,
Rena and I are looking for a couple amazing people to work at Rare Device in San Francisco. Retail experience is nice, but not required. A creative spirit, interest in and/or knowledge of art+design+fashion are preferred. Responsible, mature people are a must. Must be willing to chat with/help customers with a smile and positive attitude. There are definitely room for growth/management opportunities within our small company.
We will be interviewing people within the next few weeks. Email me at lisacongdondesign@yahoo.com if you are interested and let us know why you'd be good for the job.
Also, if you are local, don't forget to mark your calendars for my upcoming show, The Tenderhearted, which will open September 6 at CandyStore. It's going to be a fantastic party, and I'd love for you all to come by! Starts at 6 pm and goes till 9 or 10. Here's a new piece for the show:
I am almost done getting ready for it! I am so excited to hang it.
Cheers!
Lisa

Hrm, if you ever need someone to man (well, woman) your Rare Device Berkshires, MA outpost, you know who to call.

Sadly I'm in Southern California. :( If I was there I would jump at the chance for an interview. I'm so happy for you and the new shop. :)

I'm a big fan of your work and the craft/art movement (it's inspired my to get off my a** and create again instead of just mooning over my old art school remanants)so if I was in SF instead of LA I would sooooo apply!
I will visit the store one of these days though.... :)
