phew

Hello friends,

Thank you to everyone who's supported me by purchasing something from my new Etsy shop after it opened a couple days ago. It's been wonderful. Now I've lots of packing to do. Another excuse to sit in front of the TV and watch a movie with a glass of wine, no?

This weekend I was so busy! It was great. Friday I finished five pieces for SQFT Gallery for a group show I'm in next month. More on that very soon! Here is one of the pieces.

Restart and Chickadee, Ink on Collage, 10x21 inches

Saturday I also painted a bit for my upcoming solo show.

Hold Me Up, Acrylic on wood, 7x12 inches

I am also happy to announce that in October I will be joining this group of people in selling my work through  Velocity Art and Design. I'll start with a series of limited edition original art that John, the owner, and I schemed up together. I am pretty psyched about it.

Okay, not quite ready to make my big announcement (must get all ducks in row)...but maybe in the next couple of days?

Cheers.

I'm amped to see that your etsy store as gotten so much press in the design blogs - congrats!

I heart the Restart and Chickadee piece. Gorgeous!!! It's nice that you wait for an excuse to watch a movie with a glass of wine. I usually just jump right in. I do have one question, what movie would one talented crafter watch while packing up merchandise?

Gwen: I tried to watch the movie Man of the Year (with Robin Williams) but it was so stupid that i had to turn it off after about 20 minutes.

OMG! Congrats on the Velocity Art and Design! that's huge! Can't wait to see what you've got coming!

NY, SF, LA- yay finally a show where I live. I'll definately pop in to see your show at SQFT. After reading your blog for over a year I'll get to see your work in person.
