some news from Rare Device
Hi friends,
We are gearing up for the holiday season, and we've got some exciting things happening at Rare Device!
First, this Thursday, September (oops--I guess I was tired) November 29, we will be having a "wishlist" party at each of our stores from 6-9 p.m. Everything in each store will be 10% off for those three hours, and you can sip champagne while you shop!! In addition, you can fill out a "wishlist" card that lists your own personal favorites in the store so that when your friends and family come in to shop for you, they know just what to get you!
If you live in NY or SF, come by the store for this great shopping event!! You can get the address and directions here.
Second, we have just put 10 of Amy Ruppel's exquisite encaustic paintings for sale in our online shop. These pieces are all 10x10 inches and are more beautiful in person than a photo could ever capture. Her pieces do not come around very often for sale on the internet, so get 'em while they are hot!!
I'm at our SF store every Friday and Saturday...come in and say hello sometime if you live in the area.
I'll be back tomorrow with news from my studio!!

I LOVE champagne, sipping it while roaming around a shop like yours would be a perfect day.
Oh yeah, I think you are stuck in the wrong month over there- it's November! I wish it was still September, though!

oooh how great. Lisa Congden is fab - love her nests. I am glad I kept reading b/c when I saw September in your post, I thought you had not updated for 2 months.

That razor blade/heart necklace (for some unknown reason) is calling my name. If it's still in the SF store on Thursday I may not be able to resist an early Christmas present to myself.
