homeward
Hello friends!
Sunday I head home for San Francisco. It's been a really relaxing and wonderful week in Portland. The best parts? Spending time with my niece (it is nice to be adored, I tell you), good food, watching hours of bad TV, getting to know my new pup better (he continues to be a complete angel; my niece has decided he's a "magical animal"), seeing friends, hanging out with my mom and sister.
I am ready to go home. Mostly I miss the kitters; but there are other things I miss too...like the store and my whole closet of clothes and shoes (and not just a small suitcase). I am looking forward to a couple of days in my house dedicated to some more work in the kitchen. So far I have painted it white and have hung the plate wall.
{Still to do: chalkboard wall, window coverings, reupholster chairs, shelving, arranging stuff. I am looking forward to all of it.}
Goodbye PDX! I will see you in March for my solo show here, opening March 7.
