inspiration
Hello friends,
As many of you know, I like to arrange and decorate my apartment. I have lived here now for four years, so I've got the 4-year itch (yah, i made that up) and am chomping at the bit for some major changes. I'm in the process of re-doing my kitchen and working my way through some other rooms as well. All of it will be revealed in time. For now, I will show you a photo that is pure inspiration for me. Again, this is not my apartment. I just wish it was.
I found this image via Desire to Inspire's post on interiors photographer Sharyn Cairns and was instantly enamored. Love the colors, bold imagery and use of objects as art.

ugh. love that shot. i'm a big fan of orange and turquoise... so bright and fun and oooh geez, so darn perty.

ahh, orange + turquoise... how I love you so! I can just tell that picture is going to live in my mind for a while, so gorgeous.

Wow, I can't wait to see what you're doing/thinking of doing with your apartment now. Your sense of design is fantastic, and all the photos I have seen of your apartment thus far have been totally inspiring.
P.S. - I love that photo. And I am so in love with Desire to Inspire, too.
