wrapping up

Hello friends,

Today I wrapped up preparation for my upcoming solo show at Redux in Portland, Oregon, which opens March 7. I made a few smaller painted pieces to add to the show.

Here's a little statement about the show:

Little Souvenirs is a collection of new mixed media works by Lisa that include little bits of things she has been collecting for the past several years. Ordinary objects, old photographs and papers, along with pieces of nature form beautiful keepsakes that allow viewers to imagine how they are connected and to create their own narratives.

I hope you will join me at the opening party! Lorena is coming up with me. And I am pretty certain my sister will be there too!

Now, back to watching the Oscars Ceremony and cuddling with Wilfredo.
