this post is not about my yellow boots

Hello friends,

I am not sure about you, but I feel a bit nuts right now getting ready to file my taxes. I am taking the day away from the studio Monday to get everything ready for my accountant so she can do all the math. I love my accountant. She's really a character and that makes the whole experience more interesting, if nothing else.

Despite my preoccupation with taxes, I am managing to get lots done in the studio, most of which I cannot show you right now because it's all for Chronicle! I am also starting to prepare for two summer openings: one solo show in Seattle opening June 14 and one show with Lisa Solomon in New Hampshire opening July 18. For me, starting means gathering inspiration and materials, deciding on colors, and doing any necessary research. Soon I will begin the making.

This week I also have a little opening of little works at The Shiny Squirrel. I will announce when that goes up. And, if you are interested, Rena and I wrote about our friend Stephanie's Counterfeit Crochet Project this week on Bluelines.

Cheerio.
