to focus or not to focus?

That, my friends, is the question. I have, oh, around 12 simultaneous projects right now. I both love and hate the variety. Keeps me inspired. Also keeps me slightly overwhelmed. Therefore, I have decided I need a personal assistant. Too bad I cannot afford to pay one. Ha!

Today I worked on a commission. I love doing commissions (please let me know if you ever want me to make something for you or a loved one). This one is a wedding gift for a couple, and my only instruction was to make a collage that included a cardinal. So I did.

And completed, above. It's 12x16.5 inches.

Tomorrow my goals for the day are to: begin prioritizing my projects based on deadline and difficulty level and make some more stuff for one of the higher priority projects.

By the way, speaking of projects, my final artwork has been turned in to Chronicle Books Stationary (whew!!)...still several months to wait before you get to see the final products, but I think they are going to be really nice.

Cheerio, peeps.

you completely inspire me.
i'm someone totally struggling with a burning desire inside to come out creatively but totally blocked.
my middle name is overwhlemed.
your work speaks to me.
i love this piece. i see red and lots of it. i *love* red. lucky couple to receive a creation of yours.

i so love your work and totally feel the personal assistant issue, but no money. i am right there. my daughter was home from school this weekend and she completed four small design jobs for me so that i could get out of the buried heap on my shoulders!
can't wait to see the new stationary!

peace.
